Public Speaking

Public Speaking, is by far the #1 fear in the hearts of the American people given by statistics, not zombies, not warewolves and certainly not vampires (Considering the success of the twilight series)

In a society where everyone spends allot of time caring about their appearance, there’s no surprise as to why this is such a common fear amoung American People.

Have you ever been able to go up on stage and speak at your graduation or any ceremony? Most of you would definalely have “Butterfly’s in your belly,” being quite nervous, but when you do pay close analysis as to WHY exactly people are so fearful of Speeches, public speaking and almost every other circumstance that has to do with you being watched by an audience can be explained simply by your self confidence and being self conscious of your appearance.

However; this is just my opinion and although it plays a major role in your fear of Public Speaking, the causes of your fears go deeper than what I explained above, way deeper. Allot of times people are really confident with high self esteem, however when confronted with an audience they tend to “slip up” with the common occurance of not saying words right, ect.. you know what I mean.

Public Speaking Books;’

Many  might think that their ‘Public Speaking Phobia’ is incurable; in fact it very much isn’t, because it’s almost human nature to start off  being nervous as a speaker. Almost  every inspirational speaker out there had there time when they had the ‘butterflys,’ it’s actually very unique for a person to do a Public Speech for the first time without being nervous. So, if they can conquer their fear why can’t you?

So how did the famous inspirational public speakers conquor their fears to become what they are today? Or How did the little high shy school student which was shy even around her school mates conquor her fear? 

Many would think they underwent hours of counselling, or something of the sort.. No, even though counselling could help and maybe is the best help, it doesn’t have to be so..

As for every problem we face in life, Knowledge is the key to unlock it and concquor what is that we wish to achieve.

Knowledge easily accessible in a public library, or on the internet, this knowledge resides in the books of the Great inspirational speakers on the decade and century. Many have written books about the topic and many were helped and moved by these books. Why? Because; better than a counselor is the great public speaker with his or her own experiences to share, and where else can an average person get advice from these great people than in their very own books? After all facts come from experience, only the experienced can help you with great issues like such.

Small investments of 10 – 100 bucks can have you your way to a higher self esteem, confidence and comfort around people and maybe even a career in Public Speaking. These books are available all over the internet and I can assure you, they do work!

We can see that this guy definitely knows what he’s talking about, and reading his book would be way more beneficial than going to a counselor for your fears!
